MAGNETIC-RESONANCE-IMAGING OF GRANULOMATOUS INFLAMMATIONS - SARCOIDOSIS AND TUBERCULOSIS

This article discusses the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings o f two of the most common granulomatous disorders affecting the brain-s arcoidosis and tuberculosis. Many of the imaging features are similar for both disorders; and although the diagnosis may be suggested based on radiographic findings, it is ultimately a clinical one.
