Abstract
Condensation of 1-lithio-2-trimethylsiloxyethylene 1 with t-butyl(dime thyl)silyl triflate 2a leads to silylated enol ethers 4a or 4b accordi ng to the experimental conditions. The formation of 4b is due to a 1,3 -migration of the trimethylsilyl group from oxygen to carbon of 1. Con densation with chlorosilane 2b lead exclusively to 4b.
