Laser probing technique is used to spatially select the regions associ
ated with the bolometric and non-bolometric components of optical resp
onse in inhomogeneous high-T-c films. The response of S-N-S intergrain
boundary in the high-T-c film was examined. The spatial and temporal
characteristics of the response are shown to fit qualitatively those o
f the pure N-S boundary response in the low-T-c Superconductor studied
earlier.
