Abstract
We develop a spin wave theory for the canting antisymmetrism by using Holstein-Primakoff transformation, and study the field-induced transit ion in La-2 CuO4 when the magnetic field is applied perpendicular to t he CuO2 plane. The temperature dependence of the critical magnetic fie ld predicted by our theory agrees fairly well with the experiment at l ow temperature.
