M. Bocklerklusemann et al., RIG TESTS FOR INVESTIGATING WORKPLACE EXP OSURE TO FORMALDEHYDE DURING THE APPLICATION OF FORMALDEHYDE UREA RESINS, Staub, Reihhaltung der Luft, 54(1), 1994, pp. 25-28
Rig tests using different measuring and testing methods were implement
edto assess the exposure of labour during the application of formaldeh
yde urearesins. It turned out however that formaldehyde concentrations
were low during foam application. The highest concentration, on the o
ther hand, was found shortly after foam application had been completed
. Previous experience has proved that the test rig is appropriate to s
imulate environmental conditions of work sites, i.e. in this specific
case underground work sites, so that issues of hazard assessment can b
e examined by experiments and the relevant results give an answer to t
he former.
