Abstract
It was shown by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) that when potass ium jarosites are precipitated from solutions containing copper (II) i ons the coprecipitation of microamounts of copper (II) are associated either with the formation of copper (II) hydroxysulfates or with the i somorphous replacement of the copper ions with alkali metal ions in ja rosites.
