Ga. Salishchev et al., EFFECT OF SUBMICROCRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE ON MECHANICAL-BEHAVIOR OF 15KH25T STEEL, Russian metallurgy. Metally, (2), 1993, pp. 98-102
The formation of a submicrocrystalline structure is shown to substanti
ally increase the strength of 15Kh25T ferritic steel and retain suffic
ient ductility. In the fragmented state the strength (sigma 0.2 UTS) i
s higher compared to submicrocrystalline state. Grain refinement to su
brmicron range significantly changes the character of plastic flow of
the steel.
