Abstract
The interaction of Ni-Mo-Re and Mo-Re alloys with nitrogen containing medium (formed on decomposition of ammonia) in a wide temperature rang e up to 1000 degrees C was studied. The composition and structure of t he products of corrosive interaction were studied using metallography, microhardness measurements, X-ray electron probe analysis and Anger s pectroscopy. An relationship is proposed for estimating the depth of c orrosion attack under given conditions and an expression is obtained f or the temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficient of nitrogen D-N = 3.165.10(-4)exp(-28600/RT), [cm(2)/s].
