Bulk and surface magnons (spin-waves) in Heisenberg ferromagnetic semi
-infinite superlattices are considered theoretically within the interf
ace response theory. Each layer is modelled by a simple-cubic lattice
of spins coupled via nearest-neighbour exchange interactions. The magn
ons have been calculated numerically for superlattices composed of two
or three different ferromagnetic materials. We address the question o
f surface magnons when the number of atomic planes in the material at
the surface is variable.
