Abstract
The interest in the synthesis and reactivity of organometallic compoun ds which have two or more different metals in the same molecule has gr own in recent years, due to the new chemical properties that they can present. In this work, we report the Mossbauer characterization of dpp fFe(CO)3 and two novel compounds, dppfFe(NO)2 and [dppfCo(NO)2]+ [SbF6 ]-, where dppf = 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene. The complexes w ere also characterized by IR and P-31 NMR. The Mossbauer parameters of the dppfFe(NO)2 and dppfFe(CO)3, show two iron sites in the same prop ortions while for [dppfCo(NO)2+[SbF6]- only one site was observed.
