La2-xCaxCu0.99Fe0.01O4-y samples with 0.00 less-than-or-equal-to x les
s-than-or-equal-to 0.30 were studied by X-ray diffraction and Mossbaue
r spectroscopy after heat treatment under different atmospheres (air,
oxygen and helium). The variation of the relative population and the h
yperfine interactions of the sites as well as the change in the lattic
e parameters were obtained.
