Da. Smith et Kc. Mehta, INVESTIGATION OF STATIONARY AND NONSTATIONARY WIND DATA USING CLASSICAL BOX-JENKINS-MODELS, Journal of wind engineering and industrial aerodynamics, 49(1-3), 1993, pp. 319-328
Autoregressive models are used to investigate stationary and nonstatio
nary wind data collected in the field. Nonparametric techniques are cu
rrently used to classify the records as stationary or nonstationary. T
he autoregressive models for the stationary and nonstationary records
are compared using a Kruskal-Wallis test and conclusions are drawn. An
alternative method for defining stationarity based on the autoregress
ive model is proposed.
