Abstract
The kinematic viscosity, surface tension and resistivity of VNL1, VNL3 and VNL6 steels have been studied. The three steels are quite similar regarding the chromium, nickel, carbon, silicon and manganese. The di stinctions are in the levels of molybdenum, copper, niobium and cobalt . The objective of this work was to study the effect of chemical compo sition and stucture of the solid metals on the levels and character of physical property polytherms of steels in the liquid state.
