Abstract
Isothermic sections of the Al-Zn-Y system at 573 and 773 K wen constru cted using X-ray phase analysis. Ternary compounds were not revealed. The solid solution of aluminum was found to be in equilibrium with YAl 4 intermetallide and zinc base solid solution.
