Abstract
A novel approach to the simulation of PV modules is described. The met hod uses the software package PSI/e developed by the Delft University of Technology. Using PSI/e, the array equations are solved for a varie ty of operating conditions. The results are verified by comparison wit h measured data and the manufacturers figures for a BP 1 64 solar pane l.
