Abstract
A glomus tympanicum tumor, limited to the cochlear promontory, was exc ised from the middle ear of a 6-month-old girl. To our knowledge, ther e have been no reports of temporal bone paragangliomas occurring at a younger age. Diagnosis, therapy, and the special characteristics of pe diatric glomus tumors are discussed.
