Abstract
It is difficult to find lungs of appropriate size for double-lung tran splantation in teenagers and small adults. Nevertheless, many young pa tients suffering from cystic fibrosis are waiting for lung transplanta tion. We have performed two bilateral lobar transplantations (left low er lobe plus right middle and lower lobe) with good recovery. Details of the technique are described.
