Abstract
Ultra low q equilibrium with q(a) < 0.1 is studied an Souchwestun inst itute of Physics Reversed Field Pinch (SWIP-RFP) device. The plasma cu rrent duration over 360 mu s is obtained. The edge safety factor q(a) is about 0.056, The distribution of safety factor is decreased with th e minor radius increasing.
