D. Markovich et al., THE EFFECT OF COLD DEFORMATION ON ELASTICITY AND PLASTICITY OF DRAWN AND ENAMELED COPPER WIRES, Russian metallurgy. Metally, (4), 1993, pp. 121-124
The effect of the cold deformation degree during drawing on the shear
modulus, spiral elongation, elastic spring back, breaking elongation a
nd texture of copper win before and after enameling have been studied.
The cause of the wire properties change during an increase of cold de
formation degree is a texture change. A method of spiral elongation, w
hich is used to estimate the recrystallization ability of copper inten
ded to produce enameled wire, can also be applied for estimating the i
nfluence of some technological parameters of drawing on the properties
of enameled wire.
