Abstract
The properties of analytical description of thermodynamic functions of liquid binary melts were analyzed for the Na-Pb system using cubic ba sis (B) splines. Thermodynamic properties and structure sensitive func tions such as Darken's excess stability were calculated. Approximate t hermodynamic properties were analyzed using B-splines constructed on v arious grid points.
