Aa. Slobodov et al., THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THE CHEMICAL-REACTIONS OF CHROMIUM WITH AQUEOUS-SOLUTIONS, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 66(1), 1993, pp. 39-48
The available data on the thermodynamic characteristics (DELTAH(f)0, 2
98, DELTAG(f)0, 298, S0 298) of chromium and its oxides, hydroxides, a
qua ions, mono- and polynuclear hydroxo complexes were examined. Empir
ical methods of estimation were used for a number of forms on which th
ere is no information. As a result, a complete, thermodynamically cons
istent system of thermal constants was obtained. Some results of model
ing and computer calculation of homogeneous and heterogeneous equilibr
ia in the ranges T = 298-623 K; pH298(0) = -1-14; [O2], [H-2] = 0-10(-
3) mole/kg; and [Cr] = 10(-9)-10(-1) mole/kg (for homogeneous systems)
are presented.
