Abstract
Explicit nonstationary solutions for the free case are presented for t he generalized nonlinear Schrodinger equation derived by Doebner and G oldin. If the nonlinear Schrodinger equation includes a harmonic oscil lator potential nonstationary solutions can be implicitly given in ter ms of equations of motions for particles with friction.
