Gp. Potebnya et al., CAPABILITY OF THE ANTITUMOR VACCINE TO ST IMULATE CROSS-RESISTANCE INMICE WITH DIFFERENT TUMORS, Eksperimental'naa onkologia, 18(4), 1996, pp. 371-375
Immonogenic complexes (vaccines) based on the grafted/revaccinated tra
nsplanted ascitic tumors 0-37, AE, NK/Ly, OH-2, and OH-3 and products
of the synthesis of Bacillus mesentericus AB-56 were shown to induce t
he cross resistance in BALB/c mice against the above specified tumor t
ypes. The vaccines prepared from the parenchymal organs of intact mice
using the same method failed to manifest immunogenic characteristics.
Cytotoxic activity of blood serum proved to be significant for the ph
enomenon of cross resistance. The data acquired point at the conceptua
l possibility to create antitumor vaccines with a wide range of influe
nce.
