Nb. Serebrianaya et al., IMMUNOPHENOTYPING OF PERIPHERAL-BLOOD MON ONUCLEARS IN NON-HODGKINS-LYMPHOMA PATIENTS, Eksperimental'naa onkologia, 18(4), 1996, pp. 387-391
19 patients with different morphological variants of non-Hodgkin's lym
phoma (NHL) were investigated. Immunophenotype of mononuclears of peri
pheral blood (PBL) was examined by monoclonal antibodies to CD3, 4, 5,
7, 8, 10, 16, 22, 25, 34, 38, DR+ and antigen of heavy chain (mu) of
IgM. It was revealed that quantitative changes of PBM subpopulations i
n patients with NHL III-IV stages were associated with the morphologic
al variant of the disease and may be used for defining of T- or B-cell
s NHL. The increase in PBM with CD5, 7, 3, 10, 34, 16 antigens is asso
ciated with a T-cell variant of NHL. The increase in PBM with CD10, 34
, 25, 38, mu-IgM is associated with a B-cell variant of NHL.
