Abstract
Millimeter range electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of non-thermal intens ity upon the acupuncture points in animalbl was shown to hamper of gro wth and metastatic spreading of Guerin's carcinoma and Lewis lung carc inoma. One of possible mechanisms of mm-range EMR effect lies in its c orrecting influence on the energy metabolism (according to ATP and AMP levels in liver tissue and the content of succinate dehydrogenase and lactate dehydrogenase in peripheral blood lymphocytes). The extent of antitumor effect and correcting influence on energy metabolism depend s on the frequency characteristics of the impact.
