Abstract
The photoreduction of benzophenone with thiophenol was studied by a la ser flash photolysis under the magnetic fields of 0-10 T. The escape y ields of the benzophenone ketyl and phenylthiyl radicals decreased wit h increasing magnetic field strength. The observed magnetic field effe ct can be interpreted by the Ag mechanism in the case of a triplet rad ical pair.
