Abstract
In animals receiving ultrasound @ 1W/cm(2), the swelling and pain at t he fracture site reduced markedly on day 5 as compared to control wher e the swelling and the pain were moderately present even on day 15. Th e pectoral angiography revealed marked vascularization around callus a nd the soft tissue in the treated animals. Radiographically, the callu s formation was faster in treated animals as compared to controls.
