ECOLOGICAL CONDITION OF FOREST STANDS IN THE ZONE OF FLUORINE-CONTAINING INDUSTRIAL EMISSIONS

With the use of an array of biological methods, the authors studied th e ecological condition of pine and birch stands in a zone of fluorine- containing industrial emissions., It was established that damage to co mponents of forest biogeocenoses is expressed to different degrees dep ending on the distance to the source of pollution. A number of hypothe ses are put forth about individual mechanisms of damage and resistance .
