Abstract
The kinetics of the reaction of tetrahydrofuran with H2S was studied b y a gradientless method at 360-degrees-C in the presence of gamma-Al2O 3 and Na+/gamma-Al2O3 catalysts. The kinetics of thiolane formation is described on the basis of the mechanism postulated.
