The trifunctional, N, N, O-triglycidyl aminophenols were reacted to pr
ocure vinyl ester resins. The synthesized resins were evaluated by est
imating acid value, epoxy equivalent weight, number average molecular
weight and by IR spectroscopy. The specimens obtained from cured resin
s were tested for their tensile strength and thermal stability. The ne
wly synthesized resins are observed to have superior properties compar
ed to vinyl ester resins prepared from conventional diglycidyl ether o
f bisphenol-A (DGEBA).
