Abstract
Prepolymers such as polyisoprene diol and hydrogenated polyisoprene di ol were condensed with 4,4'-azobis(4-cyanopentanoyl chloride) to prepa re macro-azo-initiators. Their thermal decomposition behavior, measure d by differential scanning calorimeter, were similar to each other. Th ese macro-azo-initiators were capable for block copolymerization of vi nyl monomers such as styrene and methyl methacrylate.
