Abstract
In this paper, existence results on variational inequalities and gener alized variational inequalities for some nonmonotone operators over cl osed convex subsets of a real reflexive Banach space are proved. In pa rticular, some surjectivity results and applications to complementarit y and generalized complementarity problems are given.
