The kinetics of dehydrogenation of isobutane and isobutane-propane mix
tures on platinum-alumina catalysts containing potassium, tin, or indi
um was studied. It is shown that introduction of the additives has no
effect on the kinetics and mechanism of the process, but changes the v
alues of the constants of the obtained kinetic equations. The simple m
utual influence of the components is observed for dehydrogenation of i
sobutane-propane mixtures.
