Abstract
The structure of active sites in supported Pd catalysts for complete o xidation (0.3 - 0.4 wt % Pd) was studied by the EXAFS method. Both fre sh samples and catalysts having reached steady-state activity in butan e oxidation were investigated. It was shown that the catalytic activit y of Pd/La-Al2O3 correlated with the Pd-Pd distance in the oxide struc ture of an active center.
