Oa. Kirichenko et al., THE EFFECT OF COPPER, IRON, AND CHROMIUM COMPOUNDS ON THERMAL-STABILITY OF ALUMINA SUPPORT, Kinetics and catalysis, 34(4), 1993, pp. 663-665
The interaction of the Cu2+, Fe3+, Cr3+, and Cr6+ compounds with chi-A
l2O3 at 973 - 1273 K was investigated by the X-ray diffraction analysi
s method. The addition effect on polymorphous transformations of the a
lumina support was shown to be connected with the formation of solid s
olutions based on the chi-Al2O3 structure, and to be determined by the
ir thermal stability. The solid solutions, simultaneously containing C
r3+ and Zn2+, exhibited the maximum stability, whereas the Fe3+-contai
ning solid solutions demonstrated the minimum stability.
