Abstract
A new and rapid method is described to determine nitrofurantoin, furaz olidone and furaltadone in formulations, feed and milk by reversed pha se high performance liquid chromatography. A high-speed C-18 3x3 colum n is used and a mobile phase of HAc/NaAc 0.1 M (pH 3.2):acetonitrile, 90:10, was found to be the optimum to carry out the analytical separat ion. A photometric detection at 360 nm was selected.
