Abstract
Active patients, with or without cardiovascular disease, are often con cerned about the risk of serious heart complications brought on by exe rcise. What can physicians tell patients about the risks of exercise v ersus its benefits? How can physicians identify those at risk? How use ful are stress tests? What exercise intensity is best? A panel of expe rts addresses these issues.
