Abstract
A healthy 5-year-old child had recurrent symptomatic urinary tract inf ections, the last of which was ac companied by black specks in her uri ne. These specks were identified as Curvularin species, a dermatiaceou s mold. Symptoms resolved and fungi disappeared with long-term hydrati on, without specific antifungal treatment.
