Abstract
Complete heart block (CHB) following retrograde left ventricular cathe terization is uncommon. We report a case of transient CHB in a patient with severe aortic stenosis and bifascicular block on the baseline su rface electrocardiogram during retrograde left ventricular catheteriza tion. The block resolved spontaneously without sequelae. A review of t he literature using MedLine was performed and recommendations for temp orary and permanent pacing are outlined.
