Abstract
N,N-Dialkylcarbamato complexes of silver(I), Ag(O2CNR2), R=Me, Et, hav e been prepared starting from silver(I) oxide, a secondary amine and c arbon dioxide. Di-isopropylamine catalyzes the formation of Ag2CO3 fro m Ag2O at atmospheric pressure of CO2.
