Abstract
A case of posttraumatic intrathoracic splenosis mimicking lung cancer is presented. The diagnosis was made by a radiocolloid liver-spleen st udy followed by a heat-damaged Tc-99m labeled red cell scan. A favorab le change In the staging of the patient's real contralateral lung canc er resulted.
