Jh. Larson et al., THE MULTIDIMENSIONAL ASSESSMENT OF CAREER DECISION-PROBLEMS - THE CAREER DECISION DIAGNOSTIC-ASSESSMENT, Journal of counseling and development, 72(3), 1994, pp. 323-328
The multidimensional assessment of career decision problems as measure
d by the Career Decision Diagnostic Assessment (CDDA; Bansberg & Sklar
e, 1986) is described, and the CDDA is evaluated for reliability, vali
dity, and factor structure with a sample of 844 students from three un
iversities. Results supported the reliability and validity of the CDDA
as a measure of psychological blocks to career decision making. Preli
minary normative scores for university students are presented. Recomme
ndations for improving the CDDA and for using the CDDA in career couns
eling are discussed.
