Abstract
An exhaustive theoretical analysis of differential pulse polarography, irrespective of the rate of charge transfer, based on the model of pl ane non-convective diffusion, is presented. The theoretical treatment is valid in the case of redox systems without chemical complication or reactant adsorption. This study allows the characterization and quant itative description of quasi-reversible waves. It also shows how the s ensitivity of the method can be improved for irreversible reactions.
