Abstract
A sample of inhabitants of the city district Wroclaw-Stare Miasto (Bre slau-Old Town), aged 25-39, served as comparison of subjects born insi de the city with those born outside of Wroclaw, who migrated from vari ous regions of Poland. The analysis showed that there are statisticall y significant differences between the two groups with regard to social origin, educational and occupational status, body height and eye colo ur. The differences found are usually greater in males than in females . No differences have been found in tongue-rolling and ABO blood group s.
