Abstract
The temperature dependences of internal friction and Young's modulus i n the temperature range 20-1000 degrees C and of heclt capacity in the temperature range 100-850 degrees C of high-nitrogen martensitic and austenitic chromium steels are presented. nle decomposition of the sol id solution in quenched martensitic steels (up to 0.72 wt% N) and in a ustenitic steels (up to 0.90 wt.% N) is studied. The phase transformat ions in these steels are discussed.
