It is shown the setting of a non-enzymatic FIA method to measure the g
lucose concentration in culture broths. The chosen procedure is based
in the known o-toluidine reaction. The developed system has been appli
ed to the course of the glucose concentration in the Flavobacterium de
hydrogenans growth.
