Abstract
An elastic systematics was found in YBa2Cu3O7-x/Ag composites, and the elastic properties of pure YBa2Cu3O7-x can be extrapolated from the s ystematics. The bulk modulus K and its pressure dependence delta K/del ta P of YBa2Cu3O7-x at ambient conditions, thus determined, are 98 GPa and 18.8, respectively.
