The objective of this research was to study lepidopterous, associated
with Eucalyptus grandis plantation in Belo Oriente, Minas Gerais State
, Brazil. Five light traps were used each two weeks from June 1987 to
May 1988. The insects collected were packed and sent to the Federal Un
iversity of Vicosa, where they were catalogued and divided by Family.
After that, main pests of Eucalyptus were identified and the remaining
insects were identified whenever possible. During this period, 507 sp
ecies were captured and among them nine primary pests and five seconda
