Abstract
In this communication we define a class of constant envelope shaping ( CES) functions generated by monotone odd functions subject to certain smoothness conditions. The new functions are particular cases of a kno wn general representation for CES functions. We show that certain prev iously reported CES functions belong to this class and a method for sy stematically generating them, as well as other new ones, is presented.
