RESIDENT ASSISTANTS ON BLACK-AND-WHITE CAMPUSES ASSESS RESIDENT STUDENT PROBLEMS

RAs on three rural campuses assessed the frequency of occurrence and t heir preparedness for resolving 11 resident student problem areas and checked the skills they used to resolve these problems. Training progr ams helped RAs address some issues and experience and maturity aided i n the resolution of others.
